Summary:
A wheelset is an assembly consisting of an axle with two complete wheels together with other component parts such as brake discs, gear wheels, etc.
This UIC leaflet defines the characteristics of press-shrunk or hot-shrunk assembly of solid-core wheels, wheel plates, tyred wheels and other component parts on axles.
It also specifies assembly tolerances as well as inspection and delivery conditions.
Technische Lieferbedingungen - Radsätze für Triebfahrzeuge und Wagen - Toleranzen und Montage| Zusammenfassung Der Radsatz ist eine komplette Einheit, bestehend aus einer Radsatzwelle und zwei kompletten Rädern, zusammen mit anderen Bauteilen wie Bremsscheibe, Getrieberäder, usw. Dieses UIC-Merkblatt beinhaltet die Anforderungen an die Montage von Vollrädern, Radkörpern, bereiften Rädern und sonstigen, vorstehend genannten Bauteilen auf Radsatzwellen durch Aufpressen oder Aufschrumpfen.
