The brake must comply with all UIC regulations governing the design of the different equipment components and their fitting to the vehicles (for example, layout of the couplings, shape and position of the changeover devices, etc.).

Die Bremse muss allen UIC-Vorschriften über den Bau der verschiedenen zu ihrer Ausrüstung notwendigen Bestandteile sowie deren Verwendung (zum Beispiel Anbringung der Kupplungsanschlüsse, Form und Lage der Umstellungsvorrichtungen, usw.) genügen.
