This IRS deals with the requirements for signal lamp brackets and fixed electric tail lamps.

It does not deal with the requirements for the head and end lights of locomotives, multiple units, railcars, trainsets. For these, IRS 50534 applies.

UIC Leaflet 532 was updated introducing:

• -  the reference to EN 15133-1 for the methodology to perform the colorimetric and photometric tests

-  examples of:

•     . rear-end signal brackets position on wagons coaches, and vans,
•     . fixed electric signal lamps position on coaches and vans
• -  the Specific application 1: Europe providing the shape and dimensions of the reflective plate as per TSI WAG, Appendix E.

It integrates in full or in part the following UIC leaflets:
