IEC 60598-2-1:2025 specifies requirements for fixed general purpose luminaires for use with electric light sources on supply voltages not exceeding 1 000 V. This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition published in 2020. This edition constitutes a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: a) The clause numbers and structure have been aligned with those of IEC 60598-1. LIEC 60598-2-1:2025 specifie les exigences applicables aux luminaires fixes a usage general destines a etre utilises avec des sources lumineuses electriques a des tensions dalimentation ne depassant pas 1 000 V. Cette troisieme edition annule et remplace la deuxieme edition parue en 2020. Cette edition constitue une revision technique. Cette edition inclut les modifications techniques majeures suivantes par rapport a ledition precedente: a) Les numeros darticles et la structure ont ete alignes sur ceux de lIEC 605981.
