1.1 This test method covers the determination of the rates of volatilization of lubricants in a thermal-vacuum environment at pressures and temperatures necessary to obtain a measurable rate of evaporation, or evidence of decomposition. 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard.
