1.1 This method covers the recovery by the Abson method of asphalt from a solution from a previously conducted extraction. The asphalt is recovered with properties substantially the same as those it possessed in the bituminous mixture and in quantities sufficient for further testing. 1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
