1.1 This specification covers plate consisting of a base metal to which is bonded, integrally and continuously, on one or both sides a layer of one of the following: titanium, zirconium, tantalum, niobium, and their alloys. The material generally is intended for pressure vessel use. 1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.
