ÖNORM EN 15037-1

Annotation of standard text ÖNORM EN 15037-1 :

This ÖNORM deals with the requirements, the basic performance criteria and evaluation of conformity for precast beams made of reinforced or prestressed normal weight concrete according to ÖNORM EN 1992-1-1; used in conjunction with blocks in compliance with WI 00229010-2 and/or cast in-situ concrete (topping) for the construction of beam-and-block floor systems. Annex A gives the typology of different types of floor systems. The depth of the beam shall not exceed 300 mm and the beams shall be at centres of not more than 1,00 m. They should be arranged in groups to strength the floor. The beams shall be manufactured in factories by moulding, slip-forming, or extrusion. The products covered by this standard are intended to be used as structural floor systems which are not subjected to fatigue loading, as well as those in circulation areas or parking areas for light vehicles corresponding to traffic category F of ÖNORM EN 1991-1-1. The products may be used in seismic areas provided they fulfil the requirements specific to this use.
