ISO/IEC 29341-6-1:2008(E) describes a device template which provides functionalities such as 1 to n Zone Thermostats, set or get system level operating and fan modes and optionally an outdoor temperature sensor service. The series of ISO/IEC 29341 publications defines an architecture for pervasive peer-to-peer network connectivity of intelligent appliances, wireless devices and PCs.
