This specification covers magnesium-alloy sheet and plate designated as AZ31B in temper types O, H24, and H26. The sheet and plate shall conform to the chemical composition requirements prescribed for magnesium, aluminum, manganese, zinc, calcium, copper, iron, nickel and silicon, and shall meet the specified requirements for the tensile properties such as tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation for the corresponding specified thickness.
