This standard describes three methods for determining the total incremental volumes of liquids in barge tanks for coastal and inland waterway service that have integral hull tanks. The three methods are as follows: (a) Liquids calibration. (b) Calibration by linear measurement. (c) Calibration from vessel drawings.This document and Chapter 2.8A supersede the previous API Standard 2553.
