This document provides responses to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to have arisen during the implementation of API RP 755 over the last several years. The FAQ document does not impose any new requirements or recommendations beyond the base RP 755 document but rather is intended to provide additional information, explanation and clarification to the various provisions in RP 755.
Note that there are not necessarily FAQs for all sections of the RP 755 document. Rather, the FAQ document reflects questions that have been commonly identified by industry during the implementation of RP 755. The layout of the FAQ document aligns with the layout of RP 755 by section & sub-section numbers.
It is possible, that the clarifications or added explanation provided in this FAQ document will be incorporated into future editions of RP 755. See more
